Josh Salinas
Director of Youth, Young Adult and Campus Ministry
Charged with visioning, articulating, and executing a creative, strategic ministry plan for the fostering of disciples in parishes and high school and college campuses.
Josh brings to this position a strong foundation in ministry development and leadership. After earning his bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in philosophy from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (formerly UT Pan American), he pursued a master’s in pastoral ministry with a concentration in youth ministry from University of Dallas. He began his ministry journey as a volunteer in the Diocese of Brownsville, worked in parish catechetical and youth ministry roles, and joined the Diocese of Dallas team in 2020 as a ministry development strategist—before moving to Associate Director in 2022 and being appointed Director in November 2022. Outside of work, Josh loves spending time with his wife, Amber, and two dogs, Bleu Belle and Muffin, playing music, and cheering on the Cowboys.
